Purple Class Visit the 'Live Theatre' in Newcastle

Year 5 had a fantastic morning out at the Live Theatre in Newcastle recently. After a lovely autumnal walk along the quayside, they took part in a creative writing workshop where they said 'YES!' to every idea going. Eventually, the ended up with the bones of a story, all about a talking birthday cake (you really had to be there), before continuing the narrative in their own unique ways.

Lots of the children said it was 'the best morning ever!' so we'll take that as a huge success! Well done, Purple class.
