Reception visit Hall Hill Farm
The children in Reception have had a wonderful visit to Hall Hill Farm. We were introduce to a wide range of farm animals, explored where they live, learned about what they eat and drink and can now name different parts of animals.
The children were very calm while holding 6 week old chicks and listened to our guide Megan as she taught us how to feed the goats and sheep safely.
We also learned some new facts about Highland cows. Did you know that if the horns grow pointing up, they are female and if the horns grow forward, they are male!
Here are some photographs of the children having an amazing farm experience.
