Remembrance day in Reception

Reception have been learning about the significance of poppies. We learnt all about wearing a poppy, who we are remembering and why. The children then used collage materials and the technique of scrunching to create their own poppy. They have been displayed outside of our classrooms for everyone to share. At 11am today we held our 2 minute silence as a sign of respect.
