Year 1/2 - July 2025 - Newcastle Castle

The children in Pink and Blue class had a great visit to Newcastle Castle.

They went back in time to knight school where the learned about the training of knights and looked at medieval armour and weaponry. The children even had a go at being knights themselves!

They also had a tour of the castle where they looked at different features of the castle including the moat, arrow loops, drawbridge and the towers.
