Year 5/6 - Turquoise Visit Saltwell Park
Pupils in Turquoise class visited Saltwell Park today to look at Saltwell Towers and all of the features of the park that draw in local and regional visitors.
The children thought about who would use the park and what they would use it for. They are about to write a persuasive argument about why saving Saltwell Towers, when they were refurbished in the early 2000s at great cost, was a good idea.
It was a beautiful autumn morning, and the children loved exploring the history of the park and, of course, testing out some of the play equipment firsthand! They've been working so hard recently, so a little fun was a just reward.
